Business Development Team Manager, Colonial Surety Company

Colonial Surety Company is a digital Insurance Company located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. We are currently expanding all product lines and growing our presence in the insurance space. As we continue our growth pattern, we are looking to hire talented, driven sales professionals to identify, develop and or nurture our partnerships with different industry professionals.

The Business Development Team Manager is a unique opportunity for an experienced business development or sales manager who is looking to lead a group of professional in business to business sales and development. We are seeking an ambition, intelligent, professional manager with an executive presence and proven successful management experience. You will be managing 3 different business units within the company.

The goal of this position is to increase corporate revenue and forge strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will be tasked with identifying industry opportunities for our existing and new digital insurance product lines. You will be responsible for managing, training and retaining a team of Business Development Representatives.

 Experience Required:

BA in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing

5-10 years of Sales or Business Development Management experience (Managing Staff)

Proficient in MS Office, CRM, or Salesforce and understanding of digital marketing

Professional Sales Skills

Intuitive, proactive planning ability

Industry partnership marketing exposure

BA in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications.

Must be willing to travel to schedule conference throughout the year to represent the Company

Job Requirements:

Hours are 9am – 6pm (one-hour lunch) at our Woodcliff Lake, NJ office, Monday – Friday

Business attire to be worn at all times

Travel to conferences as scheduled
